Cookie policy

1. Necessary cookies — always on

These keep the site working. Without them you could not stay signed in, fill the cart or complete an order securely. They do not require consent because without them there would be no service to provide.

• Session — keeps you signed in while you browse. Lasts until you close the browser.
• Security token (CSRF) — stops another site submitting forms in your name.
• Language — remembers whether you read in Italian or English. Lasts one year.
• Currency — remembers whether you want prices in euro, dollars or pounds. Lasts one year.
• Cookie consent — remembers the choice you make on the banner, so we do not ask again on every page. Lasts six months.

The cart uses no cookies: it stays in your browser’s local storage and is never sent to other sites.

The live chat also uses your browser’s local storage, only if you open a conversation: it keeps a code that lets you find the chat again when you change page (via925_livechat) and whether the window was open. It contains neither your name nor your email, is never sent to other sites, and disappears when you start a new conversation or clear the site’s data.

2. Statistics cookies — only with your consent

They tell us how many people visit the site, which country they come from, which pages they look at and which products they buy. They help us understand what works and what does not.

They are set by Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Ltd.). If you do not give consent, these cookies are not written and no data is sent to Google: the script never starts.

• _ga — distinguishes one visitor from another. Lasts up to 180 days.
• _ga_<ID> — keeps the session state. Lasts up to 180 days.

We have enabled IP anonymisation and turned off sharing data for Google advertising purposes.

With the same consent we also use a cookie of our own, which reaches no one else:

• via925_nl — if you arrive from a link in one of our newsletters, it remembers which one, so a purchase made in the following months counts for that campaign. It contains only a code, not your email. Lasts 12 months; if you withdraw consent it is deleted.

3. Advertising cookies — we use none

The site installs no advertising profiling cookies and uses no advertising network or social network pixels. Should we ever do so, this page would say it and the banner would ask you first.

4. Instagram content

On the home page we show the latest posts from our @via925firenze profile. The frame comes directly from Instagram (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd.): when it loads, Instagram receives your IP address and may read or write its own cookies, as described in its privacy policy.

The frame loads only on the home page, and only when you reach that part of the page. It does not load if you refused optional cookies: a button takes its place, and the choice is yours.

5. How to change your mind

Use the button below to reopen the banner and change your choice. Withdrawing consent stops statistics collection immediately.

You can also delete or block cookies from your browser settings. Bear in mind that blocking the necessary ones stops parts of the site — signing in, checkout — from working.
